Role Summary
The finance group in Freshfields' New York office seeks a mid-level to senior
associate (class year 2007-2012).
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing underwriters and/or collateral managers in connection with CLO transactions or other complex structured financings and will have the desire to lead transactions and develop a close working relationship with clients.
Candidate should have strong drafting and negotiating skills, academic credentials and communication abilities as well as dedication to client service. Knowledge of the securities laws and Uniform Commercial Code is recommended and experience with derivatives and prime brokerage is also a plus. A successful candidate will be given the opportunity to assume significant responsibility. .
