HR Manager
A great opportunity to join a fast paced retailer who is looking for a confident, professional, commercial HR Manager to be based at their Surrey Head Office. Some travel will be required.
As HR Manager you report tot eh HR Director whilst being responsible for playing leading role in overseeing the HR Department and ensuring HR practices and policies are adhered to access the Group.
My Client is looking for a candidate with a solid retail background, strong ER and TUPE experience gained within a similar background.
The Role:
- Responsible for Talent, Succession Planning and Performance Management.
- Supporting Reward Processes working with Rewards Manager.
- Planning and developing the HR function within the organisation.
- Monitoring performance against the HR strategy.
- Employee Relations.
- Providing effective day to day leadership of the HR Department.
- Supervising the work of the HR team to ensure company policy and processes are followed at all times.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as and HR generalise at manager or senior adviser level
- Demonstrable knowledge of best practices in all areas of human resource management.
- In depth knowledge of current UK employment law.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience of using Microsoft and in-house systems.
- Educated to a relevant degree level, eg. HR management or CIPD qualification preferred.

Candidate should have strong drafting and negotiating skills, academic credentials and communication abilities as well as dedication to client service. Knowledge of the securities laws and Uniform Commercial Code is recommended and experience with derivatives and prime brokerage is also a plus. A successful candidate will be given the opportunity to assume significant responsibility. .
